Eligibility Criteria for Assam Rifles Recruitment :
- Educational Qualification :
- For General Duty (Rifleman) : 10th pass from a recognised Board/equivalent.
- For Clerk : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent and English typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer and Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.
- For Personal Assistant : Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent and Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription Time 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
- Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : As on 05.02.2017
- For Clerk & Personal Assistant : 40 Years
- For General Duty (Rifleman) : 38 Years for Dependents & 40 years for Widow

Candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes, ExServicemen, Female candidates no fee will be charged.
